I recently viewed this series of videos on Addiction, Recovery and Yoga and found them very inspiring. I see addiction as an epidemic in our society, stemming from any trauma in one’s life that causes them to disconnect from themselves, and hence others. This existential pain causes us to numb out, in numerous ways. Anything and any behavior could become addictive, as long as we look to this outside source to make us feel ok. This series of videos shares how the individuals in recovery used yoga to reconnect with and ground themselves.

Movie & Discussion Night at Covered Bridge Studio

Covered Bridge Studio in Roscoe, NY is now offering a Movie and Discussion Night every Saturday from 6:30-9:00. The first film will be on Oct 23rd, after the Animal Communication Worskhop. There is a $5.00 fee per person. There will be popcorn and soda available for a minimum charge. The way it works: Movie is played and those wishing to remain after can discuss the film.
